Jewel Sud
Jewel knows first-hand the impact on children struggling with academic challenges and learning differences. Having dyslexia and learning differences as a child, Jewel utilized available resources and worked hard to overcome her challenges, which led her to make it her calling in life to help other students realize their limitless potential.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BBA in Finance and Real Estate from American University in Washington, DC, Jewel worked in the finance departments of Alice + Olivia and Theory in New York.
Having a strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives, Jewel went back to school and earned her Montessori International Diploma from the Montessori Institute of San Diego and her Masters of Education from Loyola University of Maryland. Jewel is also Orton-Gillingham trained.
Over the last ten years, Jewel has worked with elementary, middle, and high school students, including students with learning differences. Based on her own experience and education, Jewel determines the most effective way for each student to learn and employs effective strategies to help ensure success.
